Typing speed seems to be on the increase rapidly. Gone are they days when everyone in a library would be hunched over the keyboard searching for letters with their index finger. Usually its common to see people typing at a pretty average speed. The average typing speed today is between 50-70 wpm, some jobs even require a typing speed of 80-90 wpm!
