Ubuntu, Virtual Box and USB Devices – Elf Knows It [ARCHIVED]

After a kernel upgrade today, I was faced with my XP Virtual Box installation not working, So after a short while I found the problem, It’s got to do with permissions Virtual Box has on the USB devices on the host, To fix it simply ran.

sudo /etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup

Job done, Restart virtual box and you now have access to all your USB devices again.
