Ubuntu 8.04 Alpha 6 Test – Elf Knows It [ARCHIVED]

I just downloaded the Alpha 6 of the new Ubuntu Distro, For an alpha it seems pretty stable, some nice new toys, and the general look and feel of the OS has improved a lot since Gutsy, I didnt mess around too much with it, i’ve only managed to break it once so far, I tried to get my dual monitor setup working with it, (which i have working perfect under Gutsy), But it was a no go, anytime i enabled the two monitors the X server would crash and i would be braught into safe graphics mode, ths is expected in an alpha release though, I’ll play around with it a bit more tomorrow and post up some screenshots.
